Perth is a town located 83 KM southwest of Ottawa, Ontario, with a population of just under 6,000. The downtown core of Perth consists of historic stone buildings that are homes to retail stores, offices and eateries. Instead of abandoning these buildings, they have maintained and kept the beauty intact.
Westfest is an annual music festival held in the Westboro area of Ottawa Ontario. I had the fortunate pleasure of attending the event to see The Cooper Brothers perform two of my all-time favourite songs, “Know Her When I See Her” and “Show Some Emotion”. I had possession of these tunes on vinyl, cassette, CD and now iPod.

I have been to Ottawa on an annual basis to visit my best buddy from high school. My visits to this city is very limited when it comes to sightseeing. My sole purpose is to spend time with my friend. We can spend days just sitting in her yard, her porch, living room, kitchen and backyard and just talk. Therefore, the photos does not do Ottawa justice as far as things to do and see.
I have decided to go with the “black and white” theme for this post.
